Better known as JC, is a father of two. Born in Texas, JC grew up in Mexico with a family who loved food. Many of his childhood memories are around the table and in the kitchen with loved ones. JC began learning his profession at a young age, in his family’s restaurant.

At the age of 16 JC moved to Hawaii. Shortly thereafter he began working at various Maui restaurants learning what it takes to run a kitchen from the bottom up. After earning Chef Positions at several notorious Maui restaurants JC landed at Sarento’s on the Beach and continues to impress with his culinary talent and passion.
